HISTORY | PHILOSOPHY | INSTRUCTORS ACE DOG SPORTS HISTORY ACE Dog Sports was born from the very successful and highly regarded dog training school, Companion Dog Training. Companion Dog Training (CDT) was originally owned and operated by Patricia (Pat) Cook, serving the East Bay and San Francisco. The school offered obedience classes for all dogs at all levels. Many of Pat’s students have become accomplished dog trainers and she herself continues to dominate in the competition ring. Sandy Rogers joined CDT as an apprentice trainer in 1989. In 1990 Pat added agility to the CDT curriculum. Shortly after that time Pat moved to Oregon and Sandy Rogers took over all aspects of Companion Dog Training. With increased student demand the schools focus began to shift towards agility. The need for space to pursue the sport took us from the East Bay to the Peninsula and with these changes came the name change to Ace Dog Sports in 1999. The
school currently has four instructors in three locations, with over
a hundred students enjoying reaching their goals with their dogs |
