Intro to Agility Class
Welcome to the sport of agility! Come with
your dog and see what all the fuss is about without a big financial or
time commitment. NO HOMEWORK!!
Your dog will be jumping, climbing and weaving on the first night!
No prerequisites, no aggressive dogs.
Meets for one hour weekly for two consecutive weeks.
This class can be repeated as often as you like.
Cost: $75.00.
Limited to 10 students.
Agility for Fun Class
This class is for students who have taken Introduction To Agility
and are ready to try some more! This class is designed for folks who
don't have the time or desire to practice outside of class. Come and
join the FUN!
Cost: $150 for 4 weeks, 1 hour class
Agility Foundation Class
This foundation class focuses on the skills needed before the
more focused obstacle training begins. The aim is to perfect
the stay and recall work that is required for the Agility I class.
You will also learn basic groundwork: how to cue your dog to move and
turn with you. Obstacles designed to promote your dogs balance and
coordination skills are used in this class. This class is for those
who have completed the Intro to Agility Class and
want to make the plunge into more focused training, or for those who
want to start out right. It is also a great "refresher" for
dogs already active in the sport but with some "holes"in their
foundation.
Prerequisites:
Dogs must have some basic obedience skills in place. Dogs in this class
will not be working on the agility equipment.
Meets for one hour weekly for six consecutive weeks. This class can be repeated as often as needed.
Cost: $ 145.00 Limited to 10 students
Practice Sessions
Drop in for practice. Designed for the novice and intermediate student, but
open to higher level students as well, to practice “homework” on
the equipment. Novice session will have weave poles with wires and the low teeter and A-Frame. Intermediate session will have full height teeter and poles with no wires. Equipment will be shared on a timed rotation.
Prerequisites: All dogs must have completed introduction to the equipment training with an approved instructor. Students must have control of their dogs to participate.
Note: Attendants have the right to request any dog be excused or put on leash.
Cost: $ 10.00 per dog per drop-in session.
There are currently NO practice sessions scheduled.

Agility 1
These ongoing classes focus on obstacle training and building a strong handling foundation.
Prerequisites: Students need to have foundation skills in place. These skills can be obtained in the foundation class or privately. Dogs new to ACE that have the required skills can join the class with an instructor’s approval.
Ongoing classes that meet once weekly for 1.5 hours. Limited to 8 students.
Note: five students or fewer meet for one hour.
Cost: $ 165.00 for the initial six week session. Additional six week sessions are $135.00
Intermediate Agility
Designed for dogs that can complete the obstacles and have a basic understanding of handling principles.
Prerequisites: Instructor approval required. Dogs
new to ACE that have the required skills can join the class with an
instructor's approval.
Ongoing classes that meet once weekly for 1.5 hours. Limited to 8 students
Note: five students or fewer meet for one hour
Cost: $135.00 per six week session
Advanced Agility Class
For those who have caught the bug!
Prerequisites: Dogs must be able to do advanced sequences and full novice and intermediate courses. Dogs new to ACE that have the required skills can join the class with an instructor’s approval.
Ongoing classes that meet once weekly for 1.5 hours. Limited to 8 students.
Note: five students or fewer meet for one hour.
Cost: $ 135.00 per six week session
Competition Agility Class
These classes are for students who are looking to excel at the highest level of competition challenges.
Prerequisites: Instructor’s approval. Dogs new to ACE that have the required skills can join the class with an instructor’s approval.
Ongoing classes that meet once weekly for 1.5 hours. Limited to 8 tudents
Note: five students or fewer meet for one hour.
Cost: $ 135.00 per six week session
Foot Work Drills Class
Designed for those who want to get more proficient with their fottork on course. If you are feeling a bit clumsy when handling your dog on course or in class this is for you!
Handlers only! (NO DOGS)
Taught by Professional Personal Trainer and Sports Coach Chris Stewart
Prerequisites: NONE. All levels of fitness are welcome.
Drop-in style class, just show up (check calendar
for unlikely cancellations.)
