Navigating the Canine Classroom

This is a one time class

This class is highly recommended for folks new to the dog sport scene. We want all our students to get all they can out of every class at Ace Dog Sports. This class is designed to prepare handlers for navigating all the many situations that come up in dog agility classes. Agility classes are generally more stimulating then average dog training classes and new handling challenges can be a result of that.

You will learn:

  • How to manage your dog when he is over excited (stimulated)
  • Learn the class room etiquette for dog handling needed for students to thrive in the class environment.
  • Learn tricks for moving dogs in a focused, fun way from one place to another.
  • Learn how to get and keep your dogs attention on you, instead of the other dogs
  • Work on happy crate training techniques to make you and your dog more comfortable as well enhancing skills for getting in and out of the crates as well as resting comfortably in crates.
  • Learn how to help make the class run as efficiently as possible to expedite learning while keeping the stress low and fun high
  • learn how being a team player in the class can enhance your experience and learning
