Welcome to ACE Dog Sports

Home of the ACE Way

Hello, I’m Sandy Rogers and I established ACE Dog Sports in 1999.  My teaching method – known as the ACE Way – is based upon developing a deep, two-way communication between dogs and their people.  Anyone with enough curiosity and an open mind when it comes to their dog’s learning will benefit from the ACE Way approach to dog training. The sport of agility is simply a fun and enriching way to keep growing and learning with our dogs.

Living The ACE Way with my own dogs fills my life with joy on a daily basis, and my methods have resulted in becoming a World Champion and a 5-time National Champion.

The ACE Way

Reliable skills through chemistry & communication.

Sandy will teach you how to balance and shift the natural chemistry you have with your dog in order to create an optimal learning state for you both.  Then a strong system of communication can be developed.  This is the way to reliable skills for those seeking a better partnership or a national championship.

Once chemistry and communication are enhanced, she can provide you with the roadmap to vastly improve your handling and competition skills. Her decades of experience in understanding every student as a trainer, a handler and a competitor gives her unique insight into what it takes to succeed in all three areas.

  • I have worked with Sandy Rogers for almost 15 years and trained multiple dogs with her during that time. From puppyhood to competing at the national level, Sandy has skillfully guided me to be successful in all aspects of my dog sport goals. Her perfect blend of expertise, insight and humor is the glue that has kept  my dog training skills improving and growing over the years! Sandys facility in Rio Linda is fantastic! State of the art equipment, lush natural grass and country atmosphere add to our training experience.
