Study Group #33, Pull Cues

I sometimes call it “a simple pull cue”. I say that because it is a turn cue that has no side change, but I still have specific criteria for myself and my dogs that require practice and consistency when executed. Like all turn cues, the key elements of the pull cue can strengthen other fundamental understandings between you and your dog. For example: many handlers desire a dog that will work far away from them as well as close to their body, learn how perfecting the pull cue can help your dog understand the difference. I will also explore why the pull cue lost its popularity because of the pit falls associated with it and how to avoid those issues.
